Our Story
Gala equipment is the product of a vision… a vision of how this apparently superficial mundane ho-hum routine industry within an industry (UV coating within the greater printing industry) could be run better. How instead of just selling another piece of equipment, we could bring a higher level of service, a better product, and even a better price to our customers!
Our Roots
Our roots are in the UV coating service side of the industry. Since 2005 we’ve been servicing the Phoenix Metro area for UV flood coating and spot coating. We were the first to offer UV flood coating for small format digitally produced printed sheets. While our bigger competitors shied away from it, we partnered with the major UV manufacturers to perfect a UV solution that worked across a broad spectrum of different digital machines. We captured that market in Phoenix. We are the only company in our service area that offers spot UV coating on small format sheet sizes, and one of only a handful in the nation. We do not shy away from challenges, we embrace them! When you buy a machine from us, we not only stand behind our machine, we stand with you to assist you in providing the best quality UV coating product to your customer ... day in and day out.
Our “service business” customers are printers just like you. We’ve gone through the process of buying more than one UV coater from the current industry leaders and they taught us much. We learned more about what not to do than how others do it right.
Our Goal
Our goal is simply to set a higher standard for sales and service in the UV coating industry. One of our unique advantages is that we have been born from the UV service side of the business. When we sell you a machine our experience does not stop there as does our competitors. When your coating just doesn’t look right; when you want to know how to run other UV finishes; when one job works fine and the next fails miserably, we will be there with our years of experience in UV coating to help you through the problem. We have already established a reputation as UV coating trouble shooters among some of the leading digital machine manufacturers in the country. As we introduce our small format digital coaters, and then in 2009, the large format machines, our goal will always be to bring the finest products with unrivaled service, at the most competitive prices to the marketplace.
